Recruitment: A worthwhile hassle

At one point or another, every manager seems to fall upon the same sword that is recruitment. It seems that in every direction there is less hope of ever accomplishing a dream. Unfortunately, although recruitment is likely the worst pain of developing a team, the time spent working on it definitely shows. It is easy to tell the difference between a team that was exclusive and a team that worked and simply accepted any moderately good player. Unfortunately, moderation is not the key in esports, you need the best of the best and that means working until you have the best of the best. Even once you have made a team, you never stop recruiting. Instead, you upgrade, if you were previously looking for a half decent player, now start looking for professionals.
It’s a one step process that can never be forgotten and more importantly is necessary for any team that aspires to become professional.
FIRST STEP & LAST STEP: RECRUIT WITHOUT HESITATION

Abide by these three rules and it’ll be simpler.
Present the best of the best, be legitimate and don’t make offers you can’t provide
Develop a pitch. Prepare a paragraph or two, convince the players to join you.
As the players you are acquiring improve, so must your pitch and responses to their questions.
Don’t start at the top, work your way up. No one wants to be the first member on a team, it’s a pack mentality. If there are others, others will want to join. Choose the best of those that want to join and make small replacements until you eventually get the best of the best.
It’s not a simple process and not an easy one, but it is a necessary one.
If you are against layoffs, make an A Team and a B Team. Inspire them.
